Not waterproof for lighting

This is a decent set of trailer lights but not submersible at all. After I launched the boat twice, those lights stopped working. There is moisture in the lenses and all but the two LEDs on each side have failed. Wiring was done using marine grade self-sealing heat shrink splices with an extra layer of heat shrink tubing over the top. Also, the license plate bracket broke, causing me to lose my trailer's license plate.

Very Disappointed: Trailer Accessories

I'm seriously disappointed, I installed them and didn't take my boat to Lake Michigan until late last year and just sat in the backyard. , today I was packing stuff and then I realize half of the lights are filled with water, how could that happen, I don't know, I'm very disappointed with that, if it was just one I'd say OK, maybe it was difficult , but when you realize that they are together, something serious

Poor quality wiring harness.

from 07/04/2020. The third time I had to strip and re-solder the wires. Most of the lights stopped working. Photos are attached. The light is bright and appears to be working well. The problem is cheap wiring. The wires mostly rotted and broke in less than a month. I had to cut them off about 8 inches to get to good wire to reconnect them. We drive the boat in salt water and have a two-stroke outboard. Rinse everything thoroughly. There is no excuse. In addition, the supplied screws are already
