Based on my observations, its quilted seat and backrest provide excellent support even during long periods of sitting. This chair is fine. I bought it because it was cute and good in that regard. I knew it probably wouldn't be the most comfortable option for prolonged everyday use. And it's not. What I really don't like is the comb-shaped plastic seam that runs down the center of each roll. It really scratched my hardwood floors before I could put the protective mat down.
