I am obsessed with this product. I mix it with my medium weight acrylics and it's such a luxurious thick texture. My color stays right where I put it and holds my brush/knife strokes great! Once dry it becomes SUPER shiny and lives up to its name.

I used this for collages. This is the best! I've tried Mod Podge (bubbles, no permanent matte) and Golden Matte Medium (horrible wrinkles/bubbles). To be honest it wasn't gel. All three products claim that they can be used as a collage fixative, but in my opinion only Liquitex has really worked.

Excellent mount. I've been using Liquitex Gel for many years - I like its consistency and ease of use. I use both matte and gloss. I found this product at our local art supply store for about the same price but bought it online through Revain. It is a soft textured medium that serves as an adhesive or texturizer for paintings. I like the fact that I can get very exciting and interesting textures with watercolor collages made from handmade import paper from Thailand, which I also implement with paint.
