Commonly used when valve springs or valve stem seals are replaced. Comes with two-step fitting for both 14 millimeter and 18 millimeter threads. Thread fitting to spark plug hole and other end to air supply. Heavy duty 12" flexible hose allows easy access to spark plug hole and air supply. Air pressure helps prevent the valve from falling into the combustion chamber.

Don't: Tools and equipment

Looked good straight away. The threads are brass so as not to tear off the head. double size O-rings for sealing. The problem is that there aren't enough threads. Actually only 3 threads per step, hardly. Tried to get it to engage enough threads to stay sealed in the first cylinder. Go to the second cylinder, it was toast. Didn't want to sew/seal. I suspect it was partly the soft brass, partly the short thread size, and partly the uneven hose bend. But on cylinder 2 it was useless. I ended up…

Pros
  • Air pressure helps prevent valve from entering combustion chamber
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

He did his job and then found a new home.

I'm not a fan of buying specialty tools that are typically used once and then spending eternity somewhere in my garage waiting for the next use that never comes. This worked on my 1990 Chevy K2500 350 engine when I did a bit of direct valve work. It was tricky with the little compressor, but I added a 5 gallon portable tank and it helped a lot. Don't try to work on a valve without something like this or you'll soon find out how hard it is to get the valve back after it has fallen into the…

Pros

  • Doubtful

first impressions are deceiving

I was very disappointed when I first opened the box. it was MUCH smaller than I had hoped. The way they crumpled everything up really made the deal look sour. I opened it up and untangled the short tube - it wanted to curl up again. They say there are two fittings in the kit, but it's actually one with a step for two different thread sizes. I stared at this thing and noticed "Made in USA" written on the hose. In fact the hose was quite thick and things I didn't like started to look like good…

Pros
  • Comes with a two-stage connector for 14mm and 18mm threads
Cons
  • There are defects
