Description of Lisle 39200 Heater Hose Disconnect Tool for Ford 2.0L: Efficiently Disconnect and Replace Your Heater Hose

These type of fittings are close to the firewall behind the engine and are difficult to turn with very little to hang onto to rotate. They only get worse over time with each heat cycle and deposit buildup. Tool engages the tabs and provides a better grip on the fitting.

Disconnect tool on tools and equipment

Used to disconnect heater hoses on some new vehicles. This is the only tool that can get into the tight spots where the hoses are.

Pros
  • Tool snaps into tabs for better grip
Cons
  • Doubtful

Works great and saves time.

I bought this to fit the engine of a 2010 Volvo v50 with FoMoCo (? ! ! ) quick couplings for heater hoses. I was skeptical, but unscrewing the rotary connector really helped.

Pros
  • This type of connector is located close to the bulkhead behind the engine and is difficult to turn as there is very little to turn
Cons
  • Only available in black

DEALER TECH APPROVED

I work as a technician at a car dealership and this is a HUGE time and finger saver. Pliers, sticks and other tools not only don't make the job easier, they do it anyway. Even for one-time use it would be worth it.

Pros
  • They only get worse over time with each heat cycle and build up deposits
Cons
  • Empty
