I am not thrilled with this style of connector used on my 2002 2500HD but they appear to work and are not leaking. I replaced all the radiator/heater hoses and both connectors. I don't know how you would have removed them without such a tool. I watched a few YouTube videos showing their use and bought this set. I don't know when or if I'll be using them again, but they're worth it.

I'm pretty sure it will work with the fuel lines they are designed for. I've had to use one on a Subaru engine but they don't work. Subaru fuel lines have a special design that requires a special tool.

I only used blue but it worked great. They're flimsy plastic, not sure if they'll hold up to everyday use, but for a backyard mechanic, I got this 3 tool set for less than many of the solid tools and it did the job with no issues.

I bought this kit because I needed the smallest size ie for a 5/16 inch line. It fits perfectly on my 1992 Ford F-150 (4.9L, V-line 6 cylinder, automatic, air conditioning, 8ft bed) and the fuel line came straight from the fuel filter on both ends of the filter. I've heard so many people complain about different tools for this job and this one is great. Just buy it and you won't regret it.
