There's no real replacement for this $30 patented accessory, so pay the price or miss out. Fits most brands of multipurpose ladders such as Franklin and of course Little Giant ladders of the same name. Useful for pushing/rolling a heavy ladder into RV cargo area and under vans/desks. Moving the ladder over hard floors/paved construction sites can also help. Not suitable for use in soft mud or sand. Easy installation in 10 minutes. The nyloc nuts for the four (4) mounting bolts are located in…

2 issues but it's still better than carrying a ladder

Works well with my first version of the Little Giant ladder. My ladder was bought when the little giant was just starting his career in woodworking shows. The instructions for this article did not go back to my stair model. I called the company and they gave me the information I needed to install these wheels on my stairs. Now I'll judge how it's attached to my staircase. It might go better with a new staircase. I have two problems. First I have to tip the top of the ladder back/down to an…

Also works on the basement stairs.

Installed on Keller KMT-22. I had to cut 1/8" of the plastic flange off the top edge to get them in place, but that wasn't a problem. The only issue I had was that the screws could be 1/4" shorter . I used an allen head and wrench to tighten the nuts. The screw was too long to be fully tightened and the wrench he provided didn't work well when almost tightened. A deep fountain base did not fit in the space. After installing the wheels, I rolled the ladder across the lawn and concrete, and it…

Life gets easier when you have wheels!

I like the fact that this ladder has a set of wheels. The ladder itself (speed 17ft) isn't so heavy that I couldn't lift it, but if it can be rolled and not carried, why carry? My only complaint is this: IF YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE THE KIT LATER, WHY NOT FACTORY DRILL THE LADDER THE RIGHT SPACING FOR THE HOLES SO THE WHEELS CAN BE BOLTED ON EASILY? I don't mind saying I was a little nervous drilling my new $145 stair case because the instructions weren't 100% clear. It tells you (In my case you…

Our Werner ladder works great

We have a great Werner ladder, but it is very heavy. It's so heavy that I have to move or drag it to where I want when my husband isn't around and I need to use it. I was looking for stair wheels and came across them. Other reviewers said they fit Werner so I ordered them. I'm wondering if the same company that makes the Little Giant also makes the Werner because not only do the wheels fit, but so does the platform you can order. Items needed for their installation. However, you will need a…

Love my 22 foot Little Giant ladder

I love my 22 foot Little Giant ladder. It has long range and lots of options, but it's HARD. When my neighbor across the street asked me to come with him to help with something, I quickly realized I would have to buy extra wheels to move him around. The wheels themselves are well made and work well, no complaints. It worries me a little that they are not included in such a heavy ladder. If you're spending about $300 for a ladder that heavy, they should add wheels. My only real complaint (and…
