So far so good, I use my projector an average of 3 hours a day and this lamp is a great economical Philips alternative. Half-life isn't that long, but for the money it doesn't really matter! Thank you!

I bought two of these bulbs. The first lasted 1900 hours before beginning to fade. I changed the bulb yesterday. It exploded with a LOUD bang after 10 hours. At the moment I would not recommend it. Dissatisfied.

update: third bulb exploded after 8 hours of installation very disappointed it's at your risk if you're lucky you get a good long lasting bulb or it breaks after a short while from use no luck with mine third lamp. This is my third purchase when the glass part was not installed correctly. I thought it was broken or scratched but then I realized it was glue so I need to fix it but I don't know what kind of glue to use, no big deal but that's why I would give you 3 stars give, not 5, but I'm…

Came with tools and lens cleaner for proper installation and fits like a glove! Very satisfied, 3 year manufacturer's guarantee! I will buy again! Update: It's been 3 months (90 days) and the lightbulb cracked. I hope they stay true to their claim and replace the lightbulb soon. Will update later with results.

I remember being amazed when I first got the projector and amazed at how good the picture looked even in a brightly lit room. Lately the bright light seems to be overwhelming on the projection screen (100 inch) and I wasn't very happy with how it looks. I wasn't sure if I was just used to it or something. My Sony OEM bulbs lasted around 2800 hours when they should last up to 6000, but I noticed blue colors, flickering lights, general blur and darkness. It was easy to take out the old one and…
