Loctite Rules in Threadlocker

Needless to say, Loctite is a great thing. Do your research before you buy as there are many options available depending on your specific needs. I work at a bike shop and we needed this thing for repairs, no one in town rode it. Revane Prime saved the day.

Pros
  • Pretty Packaging
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Good product. Translucent green liquid, strong.

Great product. A translucent green liquid, strong yet light enough to penetrate tiny cracks. Dries relatively clear and hardly noticeable. Starts to set within minutes but total cure time is around a day. I used it on a loose and wobbly piece of metal and now it's hard as a rock.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I won't say anything

No more squeaky BB30s!

Holy smokes this thing fixed all of my squeaky BB30 click issues. My original bike builder didn't use it when installing bearings, but if you're following Specialized's instructions they want you to use "640 Green hub cages" (no mention of Loctite). That's all. Use this material between pressed bearings and cup.

Pros
  • Consistent results in testing
Cons
  • No car

"Four " because of missing instructions

The thing should be great, but never freeze. Finally, it is noted that "inactive metals" include galvanized steels, stainless steels, and some alloyed metals. Are you referring to alloy metals such as bearing rings? Inactive metals require a "Special Primer" at $15 per can. You have to explain it in detail. It's made for bearing races and should work. Cleaned the surfaces with brake cleaner and carburetor cleaner and it has never raced.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works well but not perfect.

Good for my use but not perfect. I have a metal object with a cap that connects with a flat but wide screw and I wanted to make sure it would never come loose as there's no reason to take it off. After it had set for a few days it was difficult to turn but I was able to get some movement. Since it's a lot harder to unscrew, it's still a lot better than before. I was just hoping it would be something more permanent.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
