The seal worked as expected, with a slight caveat.

The actual product worked fine. Unfortunately, the RTV's packaging was opened prior to shipment and the tip/socket was missing. It was nowhere in the box. Not worth the time and hassle for return.

Did the job: Car detailing

I had an Audi valve cover that I had to remove because I foolishly applied too much torque to the 8mm bolt holding one of the coil packs and it broke. (I tried to drill it down but ended up just taking a used $50 cap and attributing it to my experience). No sealant was used from the factory, so I figured I could do without it. NOT CORRECT.
