🔒 Loctite Threadlocker Red 271, 0.20 fl. oz(209741): Secure and Strong Locking Solution Review

I put on the muzzle brake for my rifle. This stuff is like cement, when you apply it and let it dry, it's REALLY solid. Installation takes 10 minutes and 24 hours to "completely" dry. So basically let it dry for 24 hours before using it. Works very well on muzzle devices.

They make several different sheets for different uses. This is marked as PERMANENT for some reason. Very little is needed for normal use. Be sure to cut off the tip before use so you don't spray it everywhere. Works as advertised, just be careful what you are doing. . It's easy to clean while it's still wet.

Okay, it's hard to rate this product. I would say based on the instructions and specs assuming the price is pretty low. However, I have searched the internet and many people say that you should leave it on for at least 48-72 hours. I tried 24 of our method and it didn't last, but when I left it for 3 days it got much stronger and worked as intended. So if you follow the instructions you will be disappointed. Just let it sit longer and you'll be fine.

There is nothing positive or negative to say about this product other than that it was developed for a specific application and it is very suitable for it. Threadlocker for most jobs. This is especially the case when you don't want anything to come out. It is ideal for mounting threaded inserts or leaf spring clips. Just be careful what you wear as you might have to fight it on your way out. It is not recommended to be used near your car's gas tank as it may require a flashlight to remove.
