I love these brushes and would give them 5 stars if the brush tips didn't melt and stick together when used when the pan is too hot. This has happened to me before, even with water in a pot. Solution: I used regular scissors to cut off the melted ends and now the brush works fine. It took me 10-15 minutes to remove all the melted parts because I carefully cut them as close to the melted part of the brush as possible. The clumps looked like tiny (nylon) broccoli florets. - no solid mass. Well…

I use cast iron skillets extensively and this brush does the trick.

I use cast iron pans a lot and this brush makes cleaning without soap much easier without damaging the seasoning of the pan. I can already feel it when they're worn out I'll order another pack of these. It's been about 8 months now and I have to say I don't get any negative feedback. A while ago I bought two packs for a cheaper price than today and gave one to my son and DIL and kept one for myself. I'm in my 60's and have used cast iron skillets my entire life and have never found a product…

Pros
  • Ergonomic design for a comfortable grip
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Head falls apart, bristles melt

The biggest problem is that the plastic head (where the bristles are located) comes loose after limited use. We received two packs and this happened to both after 3-6 uses. Once the head was free I stopped bothering with it as it was meant to be trash anyway and used it to clean the hot water pot on the grill. The pan was heated to a few hundred degrees (there was hot water in it) and the bristle halves curled/melted when I tried to clean the pan.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • No instructions

Unsatisfactory for my frying pan.

Failed to load media. I like it and use the brush on other items, but it doesn't help much on my cast iron skillet with ribs on the bottom. It has soft bristles and when hot water runs over the pan, it's like a soft toothbrush. Removing the gristle from the steak I cooked doesn't help. This might work better in a shallow cast iron skillet or a well-seasoned skillet, but it didn't work for me. Please understand this is my first cast iron skillet and it has ribs on the bottom to keep burn lines…

  • Cleaning tools
