I wear this mostly to work, on an open hill, in cold weather and in high winds. Works great and is quite warm. A special mouth bandage reduces, but does not eliminate, the accumulation of moisture from breathing. Not that I expected it. In addition, it dries faster. I took off a star because it's a bit awkward and I change my head/face configuration while wearing it. However, when it is present, it is very convenient.

I'm new to snowboarding and got these two for a great price. I didn't expect it to fit, but it was perfect for a little Asian girl. It was very warm and for its low price it was a life saver for my head and face. It was very light and comfortable to wear for the entire session. Very breathable. However, it is not waterproof. I had to air dry it several times as the condensation from my breath and falling in the snow left my face damp after a few hours of wearing.

Just what I needed. 5 stars for me. But the picture is a little deceptive. It's not as big as I thought it would be (I'm glad about that), the neck doesn't drop as far as it looks in the pictures and I'm having a hard time turning it into a pirate hat as described, but I like it. So I've used my new balaclavas 4 times. As far as I can tell I received a grey/blue 2 pack. They are good for hiking in 20-40 degree weather with light wind. I wear one when I go for a night walk. Definitely prevents your skin from freezing and sagging. Not so good in strong winds, although to be honest I don't think it advertises wind protection. I am giving this product one star because it fits my husband who has a large head. I found it to be too big and the elastic band meant to be worn kept riding up my nose trying to rest on my lower eyelids. It wasn't because it was too tight, it was because of where the hole was in relation to my face. No adjustment could stop it. Benefits. I wore these skis in Vermont last week in single digit temps and was very warm. I like that it is long and can be tucked into my jacket. It also covers my ears. I bought another one and sent it back because it only fit the top of my ears. When you pull the face mask under your chin, you won't feel like you're suffocating.
