Not for everyone

I have bought several ball rolls and have not been very disappointed with any. Judging by the photo I thought this one was screwed down (which is what I wanted), every time I try to use it it creates a mess, not a smooth cake.

Dissatisfied user.

Product image appears assembled, ready for use except attached to the table. When it finally got cold in here I started using this product just to keep it from falling apart. The lock washer is not tight, the plastic spindle is too easy to remove. Worst $20 I've spent on Revain. All I can say is I hope the other gift was more durable. Don't even put a star.

Don't waste money

This winding machine is completely useless unless you are winding MINI skeins. I tried to wrap a skein of fine yarn (100g/400 yards) three times. If the holder is less than half full, the yarn will start slipping off the top, resulting in a messy, tangled cake. I have many years of experience winding yarn and this is the first time I encounter this problem. Very very disappointed.
