These filter pads work wonders for keeping my aquarium water clean and clear .They're a perfect fit for my Eheim filter and are easy to REPLACE. I purchased a coarse filter pad and was extremely disappointed with the quality. The pad was flimsy and did not do an adequate job of filtering out debris from my aquarium. The one positive is that it fits well in the filter but that's about it .Pet supplies can be expensive, and this one was definitely not worth the money. coarse filters were only needed for my Eheim Pro filter. Eheim sells a filter set with 1 coarse filter and 4 secondary white filters. I had many white filters, but not a single coarse filter. This came in a pack of 6 coarse filters at a fair price. They have the same thickness and quality as the Eheim filters. I was happy with them.
