Replaced the ones I had

Did the job. It was easy to install and looks better than what I had before with the rubber center. He eventually got exhausted and tripped over people as they walked through the door. No trimming was required and the kit included long screws that I had to install.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Great transition line!

I had to use a walker and there was a 1 1/2 inch step from my entrance to the door. I ordered one and a nice neighbor trimmed it down a bit and installed it. works great and i can use my walker and flip the step to get in. This is a great product at a reasonable price. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No vending machine

Nails, Not Concrete Nails

nails do not penetrate concrete, break and bend the nail several times, even drilled holes to give them an advantage allow 1/4 inch penetration, nails do not penetrate concrete, break and bend the nail unusable several times this product, cannot/cannot recommend this product

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Very expensive

durable and easy to assemble

Everything you need for assembly is included (nails), except of course the tools. It was easy to cut and install with an electric saw to cover the jamb at the junction of the carpet and tile. The beveled edge was perfect for the slight elevation change. Durable and withstands heavy traffic and rollators.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • keep quiet

Very satisfied. Inexpensive and served its purpose!

Very Satisfied. Arrived quickly and did exactly what we wanted. As a puppy, our dog tore the carpet in our bedroom and over time it became worn as it was not repaired immediately. We trimmed the frayed and damaged areas and used some fabric glue to stop the fraying, then glued this in place! It was a good (and inexpensive and easy) fix that will keep us from replacing that rug for at least a few more years! Up to this point, we've had trouble finding a wide enough patch to hide the damagedโ€ฆ

Used for carpet to tile transition

I bought three of these to go from carpet to tile in the bedroom and bathroom doors of my home. I had to trim each to fit and trim off both ends a bit rather than just trimming one end to keep the nail holes proportionate. were included. Driving nails next to porcelain stoneware is risky. I pasted them all without breaking a single tile, but I think I would have preferred the screws. If I had to do it all over again I would buy some screws to hold it.

Pros
  • Screw nails fit snugly into pre-drilled holes for easy installation
Cons
  • Very expensive

At best, if the item has been damaged elsewhere.

I have mixed feelings about this purchase. Someone actually took the time to put the item in a big, long box and stuffed the box with lots of brown paper. That bothered me; The person who assembled this order and prepared it for delivery also bent the item at a 45-degree angle five inches from the end of the strip and had the audacity to slide it into the box. At best, if the item was damaged elsewhere before it got into the box, why on earth would you give it to me. It's so foolish to get aโ€ฆ
