but that's pretty standard for an industrial part

This is a valve. It works. There are no instructions, but that's pretty standard for an industrial part. This is really handy if you have a turbocharged Hyundai.

Pros
  • Other: NPT
Cons
  • No instructions

Know what you're doing when you install.

This 3 way solenoid works great! Came in excellent packaging from the MAC itself. I used it on my Civic Si 08 which I have a PRL turbo kit on. I threw the car on the dyno and it put out 460 hp. with this $40 magnet! Always recommend! Thanks very much!

Pros
  • P/N: B238300 (KFP)
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Not for automotive use.

Installed on my WRX 05'. If professionally tuned, the boost pressure would not exceed 12-13 psi. My tuner informed me that those cheap MAC valves are not designed for use in cars, sometimes they work. Sometimes they don't. He told me to buy a Grimmspeed which is a MAC valve but they replace the internals with automotive quality spools and seals. Swapped EBCS and made 19psi with no problems.

Pros
  • Coil voltage: 12VDC DC
Cons
  • Some little things
