Not Durable: Furniture Hardware

This would have been a great product if the adhesive was stronger, but after about a month these things started to move from their original position and eventually fell off completely. These are the chairs for my dining table. They move about a foot forward and a foot back every time we have to sit down at the table. Not a lot of movements so I expected them to last more than a month. Also when they moved the glue moved so that it was exposed on the floor and then my chairs stuck to the floor…

Great if you remove the "white " stuff. 5 stars

I gave this product five stars because I read a lot of reviews and found that the plastic airframe is a good product but I don't think the manufacturer controls the gluing process. Variant that must be modified so that the sliding surfaces adhere to the counter product. -- Remove all white foam with a 60 grit pad to remove all traces of white foam and glue. -- Contact surfaces cleaned with 60 grit abrasive wheels -- Used contact adhesive (woodworking) to apply to the black molded rubber surface

These things are just what I needed. I cleaned the legs of the chair, removed the old pins and glued them on. I've had them for a few weeks and they work perfectly. I can't say how long they will last but I will update them in a few months. To my surprise, they didn't last very long. A few months and I found them all under the table. Unfortunately the glue isn't strong enough to hold them in place and they will fall off the chairs after a while. This is a waste of money and not recommended. Do…

Disappointed with furniture glides

So as a "slider" it works great. As for lingering on furniture, there is none. I've used various methods to get her to stick with it and it's just not worth the effort. If you intend to use this product on furniture that doesn't move around every day when the kids mix with it, it might work. I used the original glue and it came off after three months. I used contact glue and it came off in six. I removed the old glue and continued to try to keep both surfaces clean and slightly textured to…
