I love the sound but can't decide between this or double glazing. The choke is about 1/3 the price I would probably go for the choke. But I'm old school from the 80's. Thrush sounds better at idle, not much different from factory until about 2000 rpm.

I have been using Magnaflow mufflers for over twenty years. High quality stainless steel, perfect welds and I like the sound. Quiet at idle and cruising, but sounds terrible under hard acceleration. I chose the 5x11 case because I prefer the quieter side. 4x9 would sound very harsh. You can't go wrong with this.

This muffler fits my 04 Silverado with 4.8 V8 perfectly. it has a noticeably louder idle but not too loud, it purrs nicely while driving and sounds nice and harsh under hard acceleration. There is minimal rumble on the freeway and when driving uphill. If you're looking for a little more power out of your exhaust, but don't want to put up with the loud exhaust from your everyday truck, then this muffler is for you.

Product works great and sounds amazing. 2001 Yukon XL, no cat, got rid of my roar I had with my Flowmaster, adjusted to normal driving, still sounds nasty when you hit the gas hard. 4 stars because the first one came with a big dent and was sent in for a replacement. The replacement looked great except that one of the welds holding the center tube to the fuselage just wasn't welded on. Instead of sending it in for a replacement I decided to just weld it myself before throwing it in the truck…

Bought to replace the factory muffler on my 2003 Silverado with a 5.3 (LM7). I wanted a bit more power (adding camera, CAI and setup) without too much noise. It meets all requirements. Slightly louder than stock when idling with nice bass when accelerating. There's the slightest hum if you actually hear it, but I'm pretty picky and I like the sound. 1 to order and the old muffler is cut straight away and this fits right in place - about 1 hour labor with 2 x 3" clamps and 2 x 2.75" heavy duty…
