Works well with scanners

This film scanner was good for scanning older 35mm slides. I hooked it up to my Dell computer monitor so I can see my photos on the big screen. Other versions of this product have an HDMI connection for more modern monitors. It has an RCA component video cable. At first I used the onboard memory but it only holds five scans so I added an SD card to store photos. The manual says it has 64MB internal memory for 14 images, but the "Memory Full" message appears after scanning 20MB files. I…

Pros
  • FAST AND EASY SCANNING - Easy setup for smooth operation and easy photo scanning in less than 5 seconds with the included quick loading film trays
Cons
  • Great price

nice and fast for office electronics

I'm a professional photographer, I have scanners that cost as much as 20,000 + Considering this thing costs under $100, the fact that you can see pictures and scan them for that price is amazing. You can't expect outstanding image quality, but if you can get a digital image it's often good for texting or social networking. , but don't expect high magnification with high quality, use a better scanner for that. The unit works as advertised and is great value for money.

Pros
  • NO COMPUTER REQUIRED - no complex or expensive photo editing software or driver installation needed, you can adjust the brightness and color right on the scanner
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

SAVE ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS

This is a fantastic little device! I was very skeptical, but that's really the point! My mother died a little over two years ago and among her belongings were two piggy banks with photo albums, most of the photos in a shabby condition, and a shoe box. full of negativity. I wanted to send them to be digitized but all the services that do are so expensive! Enter this little device and voila - digital images from negatives! It's slow because you have to go through one image at a time. It also…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

The easy way to convert negatives

My children were born when photography transitioned from analog to digital. I have prints of most of my daughter's photographs and digital files of most of my son's photographs. At that time I had a "good" digital camera, Olympus, 0.3 MHz. I was an early adopter, way too soon. Luckily I kept the negatives from all these (analog) shots. Since many of the images are missing or in the wrong format, I tried different scanning/conversion methods. A few years ago I had a large flatbed scanner. I…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
