Type of review

The MakerBeam corner brackets pack is a sturdy and useful addition to any industrial and scientific project. After I put it to the test, I was impressed with their high quality and ease of use. The corner brackets are reliable and provide an excellent grip, ensuring that my project stays secure. However, the pack of 12 may not be enough for larger projects, which may require additional purchases. Despite this, I would highly recommend the MakerBeam corner brackets pack to anyone looking for a…

Pros
  • Easy to use and install to create sturdy and stable structures.
Cons
  • Corner brackets limit the angles at which beams can be joined, which could make it difficult to create more complex structures.

Mostly good - they cut perfectly to the width of the MakerBeam, I found the finish a little mediocre and the hole tolerance too loose - also honestly paying that much for 12 pieces of bent metal wasn't my favorite thing - next time Sometimes I can just cut some aluminum L brackets into 1cm sections and drill my own holes.

Pros
  • Angle brackets reinforce MakerBeam structure. Designed for MakerBeam (diameter 10 x 10 mm). Compatible with MakerBeam XL and OpenBeam (15x15mm).
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not a big deal either as it's pretty obvious it's a right angle.

Agree with other review. Shop quality and the holes have been slightly offset. It's not usually a big deal, but I had to drill a hole up to 7mm with a step drill and almost broke one side. It may be necessary to use narrow washers as a cover. Also note that they were not engraved; doesn't matter either, since it's pretty obvious that it's a right angle.

Pros
  • MakerBeam enables professional prototyping and provides mechanics for any electronics project.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
