Does not contain thermal tape, cosmetic product.

The distance from the heatsink to the chip interface is about 100mil, which is very important for heat transfer. The included 3m ribbon is not thermal transfer ribbon, just cheap double sided foam ribbon. That would be nice, but they can't interact with hotspots on the Pi.

Pros
  • Good cooling function
Cons
  • Negligible maintainability

The fan generates more heat than it cools

Radiator looks pretty decent; However, the fans are junk. You practically do not feel the air movement. Also, the fans seem to generate more heat than they dissipate. The heatsink could have been better designed to have a channel for the power cables. Two of the holes weren't cut properly so the mounting screws didn't go all the way in. The hexagons also unscrew easily.

Pros
  • Very easy install
Cons
  • Damaged

Fan noise is acceptable. But do fans really help?

The mine has been running continuously for several months. The fan noise is noticeable in a quiet room. But I don't usually do that. Hold the screws to reduce noise. To be honest, with the Pi out of the case, as in the video, I don't see any noticeable temperature difference whether the fans are on or off.

Pros
  • High quality material
Cons
  • Garden tools

Exactly as presented

Well made case perfect for my RPI B3+. Notes: The fans are built into the top heatsink. What this does is it only provides short little fins for them to blow on. The air then exits at the side where there are several cooling fins. the other fins are not aligned at all to receive the airflow. The unit works well, it keeps RPI 3B+ at 100% (5 windows by default GLXGears) out of sync at around 52C, which is fine if it's below 60C when the GPU starts throttling. So he does what he says he will do…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
