Does not contain thermal tape, cosmetic product.
The distance from the heatsink to the chip interface is about 100mil, which is a lot for heat transfer. The included 3m ribbon is not thermal transfer ribbon, just cheap double sided foam ribbon. That would be nice, but they can't interact with hotspots on the Pi.
