Is this really a Makita product?

I don't know why they designed it that way! Speed Square or whatever you have. She's not worth the money! look on youtube.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • High price

This works very well. Already cut out a few pieces.

Works very well. Already cut multiple pieces of plywood at different angles with this angled guide that connects to my Makita guides. I can confirm its accuracy by measuring cutting angles with a protractor, which I swear by. Some might find it a bit pricey, but it does the job.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Waste of money on power tools and hand tools

No grip for specific angles and nothing to physically catch on the track. This is a friction fit and at this point you can also align the square cut with the wireframe square and connect the dots with a straight edge for everything else. This is very bad because there is literally a place on the track to attach the clamps. Why not just fix it the same way? upset

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Not exactly working

I probably won't use it very often. I have a Makita chainsaw and both chains. I find it easier to use a 12" square for 90 degree cuts. I could use it for bevel cutting but that's rare for me. I am reviewing this review. There is a plastic guide in the Makita channel, with my guide rail the rail refused to go into the rail at all. I removed the splint and turned it upside down and it works much better now. Now that I've fixed the plastic part, the guide is much more functional.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Do not buy! for Power Tool Parts and Accessories

These accessories are just awful. First it is attached to the rail with slight pressure. As soon as you lift the rail, it falls. Second, the scale is offset by at least 2 degrees and is not adjustable. I adjusted the angle to 90 degrees and placed it on the panel I was cutting. stepped back and looked at it. Turned away. I squared my machine and measured the trace to the surface of the slab and it didn't even come close. Install the rail with the machinist's square and tighten the corner stopโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Protection

Stable, but no brackets!?

I was very happy with my Makita chainsaw but wanted an easy and quick way to get guaranteed square or random angle cuts without the hassle of measuring and marking. So I was very happy when I received it. It fits securely on the Makita rail and is very well made. The locking screw is strong and holds the rail securely. But then I discovered that there are no detents for common angles like 90, 45, or 22.5. The markings are clear and easy to read, but without accurate and secure detents, theyโ€ฆ
