Great blade for the money

I have an 80 tooth blade and a 12 inch 100 tooth miter blade. These are the best blades I've ever bought. I'm sure it will offer the same level of cut

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Fragile

The best blade for the money

Professional in finishing and woodworking. This is the blade that came with the Makita saw. It was wonderful. I've had some of the best blades out there including WKW, Freud, Amana and a few others. This is by far the best. I've paid over $100 for WKW and Amana blades and none of them compete with this stone.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Functionality

Another great product from Makita.

All in all a fantastic blade from a top notch American company. This blade is supposed to be "Japanese steel" and honestly, as long as it's not Chinese bullshit, I'm sure it'll be great. Unfortunately it really is. The thin kerf of this tough alloy ensures a clean cut. Minimal pressure required when cutting material.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Requires socket

Excellent blade for woodworking

Not for general applications like 2x4 cuts, but great for precise cuts in hardwood. I wish I had bought this sooner. Cuts easier than my previous Dewalt blade (100 teeth) and leaves an excellent finish on oak and walnut. I plan to purchase more as needed. I ended up buying 1 for a miter saw and 2 teeth with different numbers of teeth for a table saw. All 3 are excellent.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Secret

Great blade no matter the price

When I bought my new Makita chop saw it came with this blade and I was surprised that the 'standard blade' gave such a quality cut. When it came time to buy a new blade while it was being re-sharpened, I looked at the grades I normally buy for my table saw and previous cut-off saw. They were typically two if not three times more expensive than this blade and my experience has shown a difference in cut quality or durability. Besides the money, this is a great blade.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
