🔍 Dust Extracting Nozzle for Makita P-80023 Review

It is a bit awkward to install and also bulky as it interferes with certain operations. It's effective but not great. I also don't know which kid they designed the vacuum for, I had to assemble a couple of adapters to make it fit my Festool/Fein suction hose.

Very disappointed with the design of this product. Even with a large shop vacuum plugged directly into the router, this thing won't work. The way it is constructed causes so many limitations that it hardly ever collects dust. I would say it only picks up 10% of the dust, the rest is still on the floor.

Using this with my RP2301FC it probably picks up 50% dust and chips at the best moments when attached to my Festool CT26 vacuum at full power with a fresh bag is attached. When edging with an open cutter, this is useless as there is no screen on the bottom. I love my router and most Makita tools, but this dust collector needs a lot of improvement.

An important and useful accessory, but you need a powerful vacuum cleaner. My vacuum cleaner is 1800 watts, but that's not enough to suck up all the dust with this accessory. On the other hand, these nozzles usually block the view and sometimes interfere with work if the hose gets caught somewhere in the middle of the laying path. However, they are very important for a cleaner work environment and health concerns.
