Works the same as 5000 grit wet sandpaper using an automotive orbital buffer and wool pad (Note: DO NOT use in the sun). Works on deep abrasions. First I paint over the scratch with Dr. ColorChip, let dry and then polish with Malco Tru Grit. Leave for a day or two and repeat. I've used 3M Perfect It Ex to polish yachts and it's $115 a gallon this size. I couldn't get the shine I wanted from 3M, but I didn't realize it was the product and not the quality of the work.
