This device works very well. We use it to chop onions to caramelize for burgers, we make homemade potato chips and fries, and my wife loves to make salads.

I really like this mandolin! It's very adjustable and very sharp, but I don't feel unsafe using it. The food pusher has very sharp tips and grips the food very well. I bought this to make potato chips in the microwave and it did the job really well. I like gloves for items that are difficult to control with just a guide.

Bought a year ago to make my job in the kitchen easier. Finally tried using it to cut potatoes into french fries. It's insanely difficult to put a potato through a slicer. Juliana's blades failed.
