Manfen Women's Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Boots with Ankle Support for Hunting Review

These boots fit perfectly! I wore them right in Iceland for a week. They have a great sole, great ankle support and they look great. They are WATERPROOF! I didn't slip at all in the mud and very little on ice. The shoes are very sturdy and of good quality. I would recommend them to all outdoor enthusiasts.

Very disappointed. I received these boots on January 14, 2019. I've worn them on about 15 hikes up until February 22, 2019 and have been happy with them. When I was skating on Ricketts Glenn ice on Saturday, my feet got very wet. Luckily, my socks helped wick away moisture. When I got home I tested the boots in 3 inches of water in my sink. They are no longer waterproof. I have 10 days past the return date.

I walked 9 miles to Alamer Falls in Marin County, California. The terrain was rough, rocky and wet and all of these boots stood the test of time. The insole is very comfortable and has a snug fit, and the tread of the outsole caught on uneven sandstone as I climbed up and down the rock face. My foot never felt unstable the entire way, even after walking on water.

I wear a size 7 1/2. I bought size 8 and they fit perfectly (not big at all). Try to keep shoes at least 1/2 size larger than your normal shoe size. I bought them for hiking in Yosemite Park and they passed the stress test. I traveled through thick snow, mud, streams (water) and rocky trails. These boots made my hikes so much more comfortable compared to my friends who opted for sneakers. I had to give a good review, I really recommend it for hiking.

I bought these specifically for a trip to Iceland where I knew I would be walking and needed good traction. These boots fit well. These are the only boots I've ever owned that actually kept my feet warm ALL DAY. They are waterproof, easy to clean and durable. I would give them 5 stars except they loosened around my ankles quite often which forced me to re-tie them. Since they are quite stiff, the part covering my ankles didn't flex with me. Otherwise highly recommended!

Last weekend I was in Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona, Arizona. It snowed a lot last weekend, so I knew there was going to be a lot of snow, ice, and melting snow. I didn't get a chance to really overclock them before my trip to the mountains - I wore them for about 5 hours total, an hour or two at a time - and was very nervous because they felt very hard on. So after the first 6 mile hike (over mud, rocks, woods and muddy terrain) I was so pleasantly surprised that I didn't have a single blister or abrasion and my feet didn't hurt at all. I have no regrets buying these shoes. I categorized my review based on several factors: 1. SIZE: I usually wear a US size 7 1/2, but instead I bought a US size 8 and it fits me very well. I would advise anyone buying this shoe to go half a size up if you want to keep the toe box loose. One thing to note is that the shoe comes with a very thick sole - removing it gives you more room in the shoe in case it gets too tight - be aware this can affect comfort. UPDATE: I'm back from a trip to Iceland and am updating my review. These shows are warm, durable and waterproof (unless you accidentally fall into a glacial lake and dove them head to toe like I did haha, but that was entirely my fault. They seem to dry up well after a fall!) . The only reason I'm giving this 4/5 stars is that after a few days of wearing them they created bruises on the left side (outside) of my lower leg on both feet. So if you hike for a week or so, take another pair of shoes
