Just buy it. for spare parts

I fitted it to my VW jetta mk5 2007 2.5l and immediately felt the difference. Make sure you change it every 40,000 miles as modern injection pressure requirements can get dirt blocked.

Pros
  • trial period for one year
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Good idea for replacing

Volkswagen won't tell you I bought a gas filter that needs replacing, but I decided to replace it after 50,000 miles and was glad that I did it. The original I shot was trapped in water, I couldn't believe there was so much water in it because the machine never missed a lick. The new filter fits perfectly and I will be buying more.

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Appearance

Works with naturally aspirated 2.5L Vortec engines

Although Revain says this filter will fit a 2012 Jetta with a naturally aspirated 2.5L engine. Part number n90496802). I suggest ordering one of these at the same time as the filter. This is the only trap that accomplishes this simple task. This filter is made in China according to the brand on it.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Not bad

DO NOT USE FOR VW GTI

Revain shows this filter fits my 2007 VW GTI. As others have commented, this is WRONG. Shortly after installing this filter, the check engine light came on with a code P0089, Fuel Pressure Regulator Performance 1. I thought my fuel regulator was bad and almost replaced it. This filter is marked 4.0 bar (58 psi). This is too restrictive for the fuel requirements of the GTI. The correct filter is 6.6 bar (95 psi) and is marked WK69 on the packaging.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Took for VW Golf GL 2004. Its .

Bought this for a 2004 VW Golf GL. Before replacing it, it is important to check the seat of the fuel filter. I bought the wrong one before getting this one because I didn't check the pressure regulator. This fuel filter is designed for a pressure of 4 bar. I went to the VW dealership with the VIN to check the filter pressure and see how much money I could save. It should also be written on the old filter. The exchange was easy.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Easy to install, recommended every 100 miles

Worked on my Volkswagen MK5 Jetta (2008) 2.5L. The old filter was so clogged and dirty when I pulled it out. Fits great and is very easy to install, you only need a Phillips screwdriver or a torx bit. I think it depends on your model. And if you've never changed a fuel filter before, you may need to cut off a small piece of plastic. (This is like a warranty void seal). You will see this if you remove the fuel filter screw and try to remove the wiring harness.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Made in China (same as factory)

Precise replacement on a 2008 Jetta 2.5. The filter is made in China but the one I replaced with from the factory was the same. First remove the two hoses on one side. Then remove the Phillips head screw on the clamp. Look closely and you will see a piece of plastic that needs to be cut off if this is the first filter change. Otherwise the clamp will not open. Once the filter is down, remove the remaining single hose. The clamp that needs to be depressed to remove the hose on one side is on the

was very easy to install

Although Amazon says it doesn't work with the 2014 Volkswagen Golf 2.5L (mk6), they are wrong. it works 100%. You can check yourself by going to the Manna website. This is the only Mann Golf MK6 2.5L certified filter. it was very easy to install. Lift the back, unplug the wires from the old filter (push them in a bit, then press the buttons on the wires and they pop right out. Don't pry!) and insert this one. Fuel lines do not need to be bled. actually not as Volkswagen didn't bother to listโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Everything is ok
