Worth every cent. I'm something of a newbie. The mannequin head is light and small, a neat perk compared to the last "cement head" mannequin I bought lol. perfect to sit comfortably between your legs if you don't like the stand. The skin and ears even look realistic. Hair is manageable. & Soft. It does have a strong factory smell though, you might want to soak it in some conditioner.

Hair conforms closely like 4c hair. However, once wet, it becomes soft like hair type 3C or 4A. The hair is definitely curly like textured hair. This is definitely a great mannequin head for those who want to practice textured hairstyles. This mannequin was to be given as a gift to cosmetology school students. I will buy another.

Most people say that their head falls off a lot. This is 100 percent real hair and proven to be good quality African American hair. Helped my granddaughter to do braids → the parting looks like a real human hair parting. Her mannequin didn't shed much, probably because, like some African Americans, she uses conditioner and hair grease on it. This product is also heat resistant, so you can use an iron and electric rollers.

The wig is amazing, very soft and very long. Shipping was actually quicker than suggested, my only PROBLEM with this mannequin is the spillage. Oh god I hate shedding. So I gave this product a 3 for Dropout! Without the molt I would have gotten 5.

The advertised image is not true. This hair is the real deal, especially for African American hair. It's 100% human hair and I really like the natural curl pattern.
