I bought these gloves to use for travel and wildlife photography in cold climates and winter. If it's below 20ºF or below you'll need to supplement the warmth these gloves can give you, but beyond that they're great. Heavier gloves, while warm, are too bulky to be useful when walking around with your camera. These gloves are not that bad but if I came back I would probably buy something else. The palms are covered with circular (m) logos, which looks pretty fun. They keep your hands warm, but not very well. If the temperature is below 20 degrees, you can leave your hands in your pockets. The fingertip and thumb function works very well on my iPhone.
