Smells like flowers, not wood.

I sprayed it in the container I use to hold my masks. Sandalwood is a very important smell to me. It calms me psychologically because of all the happy memories behind it. This stuff, while smelling good, is NOT the scent of sandalwood. It's some sort of flower. Ended up giving it to a friend who actually likes floral scents.

Pros
  • A great alternative to synthetic sprays or scented candles
Cons
  • The scent may interfere with certain individuals' dreams and subconscious thoughts

Nice aromatic smell but doesnt last long

This smells divine! I love using essential oils around the house and this one has a lively yet calming aroma. I love sprinting this on the guest room linen and also to take with when i am traveling.Sadly, the lasting power isn't that good so i wouldn't be purchasing more of it.

Pros
  • Aromatherapy
Cons
  • The scent may wear off quickly, requiring frequent reapplication

Mostly water and alcohol

Although I love the sandalwood smell, something in this made me sneeze. I had to change out my pillow soon after I sprayed. The smell is more masculine, which I did not mind. It says it contains "fragrance" and I am not sure what that means. For the price that is listed and the size of the bottle, you would figure that it would be an organic essential oil blend, which its not. there is water (1st ingredient) and alcohol (2nd ingredient).

Pros
  • Comes in a convenient 60 ml bottle that's easy to use and store
Cons
  • Not recommended for use on pets or in pet-friendly households

Subtle Scent on my review.

This spray has the subtle scent of sandalwood. The scent is not heavy like other products like this and thus, won't keep you awake or make your bed feel wet. It was delightful falling asleep with this aroma around me.

Pros
  • Compact and Travel-Size: TSA-friendly bottles -- under 2 oz. each
Cons
  • The spray may not have a long enough shelf life for some buyers

Warm, Calming Scent

I find this sandalwood scent to be very nice. It's warm and calming, but I'm not sure it makes me sleep longer or better as it claims. I felt no different this morning than any other. The spray bottle makes it easy to apply to whatever you are applying to. I saw no oily residue on my linens, and one spritz did the job. I think any more than that and it will be overwhelming. Seems to be a quality oil, and the price of $9.99 is what I would expect to pay for a 2 ounce sprayer bottle.

Pros
  • Love this stuff. Leaves a nice relaxing smell. I use it every night.
Cons
  • The fragrance doesn’t last long

Smells good but doesn’t last

I love the smell but it doesn’t last long, bottle is small and maybe worth half the price. But it does smell good The spray may contain chemical additives that are not listed on the product label!

Pros
  • Helps promote restful sleep and reduce anxiety before bedtime
Cons
  • The spray may contain chemical additives that are not listed on the product label

Smells amazing! good for me

I absolutely love the smell of this spray. Not sure it has helped me go to sleep but I have just tried it but again, the smell is mild but very pleasant}. My two older small dogs sleep in my bed with me and they don't seem to mind the smell at all. Since dog olfactory nerves are so much stronger, they can smell many, many times stronger than humans and it doesn't bother them at all. I'm glad I purchased it and the price was very reasonable.

Pros
  • Health Care
Cons
  • The Ocean Air scent may be too reminiscent of a beach vacation for some users, leading to feelings of homesickness or longing

Helps Me Sleep Better

The Marpac Yogasleep it a nice linen spray to freshen things up and get a better rest when sleeping. The sandalwood scent is quite nice. It's not headache inducing and it smells exactly like I expected it too. I only spray this two to three time over my bed and then go to bed.I smell this when I drift to sleep but it all but fades by the morning. I was afraid it might would leave behind a residue but it hasn't.I like this as an alternative to running a diffuser all night long and putting to much

Pros
  • USA
Cons
  • The scent may not be to everyone's personal preference

What is the mystery "fragrance "?

I received several Marpac products to review. Unlike the "get your sleep on" and "power down" bottles, this one comes with a spray, so they aren't pushing you to buy the "marpac sleep scent machine" (which I assume is a diffuser). However, all three list varied ingredients including "FRAGRANCE." Although I like the idea of essential oils, I equally like the idea of knowing just what it is I'm spraying around and inhaling, so I will be reaching for more transparent brands in the future. On the…

Pros
  • Can be used as a room spray to freshen up any space with a pleasant scent
Cons
  • The spray may be too cumbersome to bring on trips or travels

for those folks who can't sleep well at night. so great!

smells so good! one of have been having a very hard time sleeping at night so we were given quite a few recommendation as melatonin works up this hormones making it harder for you to ween off and sleep naturally on your own later! suggestion was to drink chamomile tea & use this spray! and WOW! it's not perfect sleep, but according to our apple watch, the sleep record has improved! great and natural combo i say!

Pros
  • Really smells like a beach.
Cons
  • This does not smell like sandlewood. It smells like cheap men's cologne.

Lovely - just be careful around pets!

This smell is divine and it has no chemical aftertones. It is pretty concentrated in some ways and it doesn't take much to lay a nice smell in a room via the linens. Of the three scents I have this is definitely my favorite of all. The nozzle works great, does not clog, and this seems to be lasting quite a long time.

Pros
  • Marpac
Cons
  • Not suitable for use by individuals with respiratory issues

Relaxing scent, a little goes a long way

Personally, I find the scent to be a little bit too sweet and overwhelming, so if this is your thing, I would say a little goes a long way. It reminds me a lot of a tranquil sleep linen spray from many many many years ago, and it resembles a lot of relaxing scents that you find. It has some floral notes, but mostly it’s very very sweet. Think of the opposite of those crisp citrusy fragrances, which people used to wake up and feel invigorated. My wife loved it, and I absolutely hated it, but…

Pros

Cons
  • The Ocean Air scent may be too strong and overwhelming for some individuals

Drift off to the sweet scent of sandalwood

Do you ever just want to freshen up your bedclothes before climbing between the sheets? I love the smell of sandalwood and just a few spritzes of this aromatherapy spray on my pillow and bottom sheet make my bed so much more inviting! It's not overpowering and just makes me relax as I sink into the scented bed. I love essential oils and I definitely like scents of all kinds and this just makes me happy when going off to sleep. I want to try more fragrances!

Pros
  • Aromatherapy for Zzz’s: Scents designed for sleep
Cons
  • The spray bottle may malfunction and leak, causing a mess

Great Linen Spray - my new review

I am pleasantly surprised that this product lingers many hours later and smells fabulous! I use it in the a.m. and can still smell it at night when I go to bed! The price is very inexpensive too. I would definitely buy this linen spray again!

Pros
  • 1.5 x 1.5 x 4.75 inches; 0.01 Ounces
Cons
  • The scent may clash with other scents in the room, causing discomfort

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Clean yet complex scent

Fascinating scent - excellent refreshing the car for example, has an instant fresh and clean smell without being too earthy or herbally at all. More so, there is a after lingering refreshing smokiness without being too heavy.

Pros
  • AmazonUs/MAWWZ
Cons
  • Contains essential oils that may cause allergic reactions in certain individuals

a little something for your pillow

I tried the Marpac Yogasleep 'Up to Nose Good' sandalwood scent, which bills itself as an aromatherapy linen and pillow spray. I normally sleep with a diffuser on at night, with a lavender blend of some sort, which is a proper extract. This. this is a blend of some sort (it even says 'extract' and 'fragrance' in the ingredients) which has sandalwood and patchouli, among other things (such as spike lavender). This is definitely a woody scent, and when I spray it on my pillows before I go to bed,

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • May not be effective for all users in promoting relaxation and sleep

Nice crisp scent in my review

While I'm doubtful that this spray has any real effect on my sleep, I do like the scent. It is hard to define, but is reminiscent of fresh laundry that has been hung to dry outside at the coast. Just a tiny spray on the bed linens is enough to make them smell pleasantly refreshed.

Pros
  • May help alleviate symptoms of insomnia, stress, and fatigue
Cons
  • The spray may irritate or exacerbate existing skin conditions

Not what I thought, more like a perfume spray.

I thought this was an essential oil spray in a carrier oil. It has other ingredients including "fragrance”. It smells vaguely like men’s cologne. It isn’t anything what I thought nor does it smell like what I get when I put the main essential oils together myself. It’s just a miss for me.

Pros
  • Alternative Medicine
Cons
  • I use the sleep product and it kept me up all night and it smelled very nasty

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Scent a little strong

My 11 year old son always has had a hard time sleeping so I thought this might help. I misted it on his but the next morning he said his pillow smelled funny.I washed the pillowcase and misted the sheets lightly and the air around the bed. That night he fell asleep more quickly than usual and slept longer. If that continues I will have to get another bottle!

Pros
  • Can be used in any room of your home for a calming ambiance
Cons
  • Not recommended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding

I gave one star because this is not the sandalwood smell I want. I’m looking for a PURE sandalwood smell which is supposed to have a deeper, complicated kind of woody tone. BUT this one contains many other ingredients like lavender, clove leaf, patchouli and so on. It just smells not right, doesn’t smell like sandalwood at all. The product name is super misleading. If you want to call it sandalwood then please don’t add any other stuffs. If you want to keep the existing ingredients please…

Pros
  • Mists & Hydrosols
Cons
  • The price point may be too high for some buyers
