Great upscaling ability, only works well for 480p

I have a very complex HDMI setup for retro consoles including RetroUSB AVS, Analogue Super NT and Mega SG, Ultrahdmi modded N64, Gamecube Carby HDMI, Wii U Pound PS2 HDMI, PS3, PS4 and Switch. Since many of these work through a Monoprice 8x HDMI switch, I figured using them for the HDMI output would bring incredible benefits by upscaling 8 consoles and applying anti-aliasing on my 4k TV. Visible Smoothing

Purchased for Nintendo Switch. 1080p to 4k upscaling doesn't work as the official spec states that the dongle only supports 1080p 30/24Hz to 4k upscaling (hence one star down). So the Switch only benefits from its image filters and dithering effects. Most 4k TVs have some 1080p upscaling algorithm, so that part is fine for me at least. I really like my Carby but Mclassic took my GameCube to the next level!

Here is my experience with Mclassic owned in a few days. I mainly use it for GameCube and I think Mclassic is definitely the next step in graphics improvement after any GCVideo solution (GCHD/Carby/Kaico) in my opinion. Not much is noticeable at first glance. I did a lot of research AFTER the purchase because it was an impulse buy. And to be honest, it works as advertised, but not in the way people would hope. It smooths and definitely increases the resolution. Using my Nintendo Switch on 720p+mclassic is almost identical to 1080p without mclassic AND almost identical to 1080p+mclassic.
