Durable and Efficient Hand Tool

As an industrial AND scientific worker i rely on top-quality hand tools to get the job done .Through trial and error, I found that this wooden-handled hammer truly delivers. The grip is comfortable and secure, and the head is perfectly balanced for consistent, efficient use. I especially appreciate the durability of this tool - it's been put through the wringer and still refuses to break. While slightly heavier than some hammers, the quality more than compensates. New version with blue label (enlarged eye), very nice!

I have received a new blue label Martin which has a slightly larger tab (handle hole in the head) than the previous red label version. Same great quality, just a slight improvement in design. The new Blue Label hammers use a wooden wedge along with two steel wedges to expand the handle that locks the head. It seems to be a very solid construction. Martin claims that this new design is "87% stronger in the bend test and 300% stronger in the pull test." [.] Convince yourself. I am very satisfied…
