MISSING 1/2 bracket

MISSING 1/2 bracket arrived. I know it says "Jig Only" but figured I'd at least keep ALL the jig. The black fastener at the bottom (critical for calculating pocket holes) was missing. Without them, the device is useless. It seems to me that someone dismantled the jig set, took what they wanted and sent me what was left. Ridiculous.

Not good at all. for power tool parts and accessories

A pocket hole created on the edge of wood. Not as shown in the pretty pictures. Cuts a hole too close to the edge. For this reason, smaller blind hole screws had to be used for the application. While drilling a hole, the drill ripped off the front of the tree. For 2X2 wood it is necessary to move the device so that the hole is cut on the side of the tree. Couldn't use recommended socket set for 1 1/2" drill. I had to fit a 1/2" drill collar and only use 1 3/4" set screws. If I could bet NO…

I'm glad I bought it: power tool and hand tool

I got this today and used it to drill 10 pocket holes. However, it took me a while to figure out how to use it. What I really liked is how you can (follow the instructions on the box) adjust the depth of the board you're drilling into. This was not the case with my old Kreg machine. Also, I like the end piece that fits over the end/edge of the board that you drill a hole in to position the jig perfectly for the hole you want. My previous Kreg tool didn't have this either, and I was always…

Good new tool for power tools and hand tools

This is a good tool for creating nice pocket wood screw holes that connect at 90 degrees. BUT you cannot use this tool alone. You also need to buy a special drill and clamp to use it. I was able to buy a $16 drill bit at a local hardware store and use one of my clamps. I also never quite understood how to use the gauges on the tool to figure out how to set it up to get the right position and depth, so I just experimented with wood trimmings until I found the right solution. Once I got the…

Are you kidding me?

The size of a small flip phone, this mount is made of strong, durable plastic and features a magnetic component for quick size/use adjustments. Unfortunately, the holes/sleeves you insert the drill into (lined with steel rings/guides) require proprietary drills if you want perfect accuracy. So you're either stuck buying a bunch of proprietary drill bits (because they dull over time and/or you need different sizes) or you practice for hours trying "hands-free" with a regular drill and a regular…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Love it! Smart, light, strong!

I've only used it a couple of times, but again I only bought/received it a few days ago. Context: I owned a Milescraft Single Pocket Jig for a while and loved the simplicity of this joiner's variant, but I was frustrated, if not terrible, that it only had one - ah, you get the point. Either way - I LOVE IT! Rzhunimagu! Who would have thought that adding just one pocket while allowing for a proper double set of pocket holes would make me so in love! Laugh! This used to be a slightly better…
