Maui Rippers Long Boardshorts: 4-Way Stretch For Maximum Comfort And Style Review

The material these are made of is super soft and stretchy. They fit and feel great, WITH THE EXCEPTION of them being very long and hanging about two inches below my knees. I'm 6 ft, 200 lbs with a proportioned build and they were still super long. To "fix" this, I had the local seamstress shorten them by about 2 inches and now they fit in the middle of my kneecap and no longer get caught on my knee when I bend my leg.

My first pair of Maui Rippers (I have subsequently bought 2 other Maui Ripper boardshorts since) & I couldn't be happier. The length is just past the knee - the material stretches where needed. They fit & feel great.

A little tight but dry very fast. This is a unique product that you have to be used to. Quality is good but be sure you know what your ordering

I like my board shorts long so they can do what boardshorts are supposed to (protect your inner thigh from surfboard rash). It’s hard enough to find long ones these days, as short shorts are in style. Add to this I’m 6’2” and forget it. These ones are awesome. They go to the middle of my kneecap. Plus, the construction is quality. If your over 6’2” you need these!

I ordered three pairs of board shorts - same style, different colors. Two fit perfectly and one pair did not. I have to pay return shipping on the pair that didn't have consistent sizing.

Shorts fit well but the Hawaii islands are not on the pocket as displayed. It’s just all black. He wasn’t happy about that because it was a selling point for him.

I love these board shorts! I’m 5’11 and hate short swim trunks. These go past my knee and are so comfortable. I’m so glad my wife made me buy them. I bought a 2nd pair because I love them so much. If you’re wondering if they are worth the money, trust me they are.

Love the feel of these, but they say "fit as expected” which is NOT true. The 32 was the same size when held up to other 31 board shorts that I own, and was smaller than the other 32. Would definitely recommend these just order one size up.

I really don’t understand why it’s so hard to find long shorts. But these are great for me as I’m 6’ 4 and don’t need the boys peeking out unannounced. They come to just below my kneecap. Good stretch so things aren’t binding. These don’t have a mesh liner fyi.

My husband is extremely picky and also 6'5. He refuses to wear anything that doesnt go below his knees. With that being said he absolutely loved these. They were the perfect length, light weight, and gave him enough room to move freely. True to size. I ordered a size up because of other reviews but definitely could have ordered his usual size. He wears a 34 and I ordered a 36. Thankfully they have a drawstring.

They are very comfortable and look good. No velcro or buttons ect, just a drawstring at the top. I do like the little zip up pocket on the side of the leg too.

These shorts are great for tall man of 6'7', great fit, no sliding, and they are long enough. Select size 34 if you are skinny. You wont regret. This is the only brand I'm satisfied with.

After seeing the quality of these boardshorts, I consider them a must have for the summer. I ordered another pair and waiting for the manufacturer to restock more colors in my size. The feel, the stretch, the fit, and length, are perfect for me.

Maybe the most comfortable swimsuit/boardshorts I've ever had. The never ending search for tall guy (6'7", 230 lbs) clothing finds success with these 24" shorts. Awesome material also. Only wish there were more colors to choose from!

These freaking rock! 6'4, 190 lbs. They reach middle of knee cap which is perfect. Hard to find this length with such good quality. I will be buying more.

Also very long. I'd recommend these for big&tall peeps looking for sufficient coverage. I'm 6'7" 260#, and the XXL worked great.

I am 6'3" and have been looking, for nearly 20 years, for actual "long boardshorts." Finally, found them. I've tried many Big 'n Tall boardshorts and they're plenty "big" but never "tall." These could be a little baggier, but they are not too skinny. The material and fit are great. I ordered a second pair.
