I strongly advise you NOT to purchase this product. I read many reviews before purchasing this item, but I have convinced myself that people who are dissatisfied with this item simply have no idea how to take proper care of it. The Markm review pretty much sums it up. I'm really surprised that anyone can screw things up. First open the housing door completely. Then insert the tape, making sure the pins inside are properly seated in your smaller cartridge (make sure the flap on the smaller tape side is fully flipped up). This is probably one of the easiest products you can buy - it either works or it doesn't. Except for me on this particular device, that somehow wasn't the case. I made a big mistake with my timing and when I tried to use this converter the left hand roller that ejects the tape is missing and there is an obvious broken piece that moves but does nothing. Thus, the tape is only pushed out from the right side.
