I put my Vitamix on this. Perfect! Press down on the lever and it allows the platform to roll forward and backward. Easy to bring it out to the fore when in use, and replace under the cabinets when not in use. Grippy and secure - no sliding around of the appliance. And it stays put when the lever is not depressed. Bought this to use for a Lelit Elizabeth espresso machine, weighs 42 lbs + water, so this exceeds the site product description of "holds 30 lbs". I bought the 13.8"W x 11.7"D size sliding tray and it fits perfectly. This machine now slides in and out quite easy allowing quick access to the rear water tank. Finding a sliding tray that is this shape is not easy. We had the kind that is deeper than it is wide, and that was fine for our old coffee maker. Our new coffee maker is wider than it is deep and this tray is perfect! Whatever your coffee maker shape, this is easy to use and much better than sliding the coffee maker itself across the counter every day.
