Put them in right away and it was just wow. why i waited so long and got 5 punches in the head with a sagging tailgate. Perfect fit and durable.

I added a lot of sound deadening material to my '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee so the tailgate is at least 20 pounds taller. It's still capable of holding a heavy tailgate in sub-zero Fahrenheit temperatures. The mounting hardware appears to be more durable than the factory mounting hardware.

They worked so well on our daughters 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo we bought another set for our 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. the hatch is open. It took me 1520 minutes to install it. They are very strong and keep the hatch open with no problem.

Seems to work great, very strong and lifts the rack very well. fits perfectly with our Grand Cherokee 95 has everything you need. Easy to install but btw if you don't have external torx bits to remove old shocks a 1/4" 12 point socket is great for removing bolts from old shocks anyway. Quality product

They are a perfect match for our '95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo. 3 stars for ease of installation as it requires a special star tool that most people wouldn't have lying around. 5 stars for value; They can also supply an automatic overhead gate! As soon as you open the gate, the hydraulics work and raise the gate! The item came faster than expected!

I love this product and don't usually comment on my purchases but I have purchased 2 other shock kits for the rear of my hatchback and both pairs were side walk sissy shocks. Niter came with the hardware to install them and they were half the size. After I took them out of the box they banged the crap out of the other shocks and b**ch banged them back in the box. They didn't even have to box the Sissy Shocks they boxed and came back with the tag and hid outside to be picked up. All BS aside…

These parts work great! I no longer get hit in the head by a tailgate that won't stay on (especially in cold weather). Installation was incredibly easy. Or at least it should have been easy. The screws that hold the original parts together have torx heads and I didn't have the right heads so I just used the best hex head in my toolbox. This worked for three of the four screws (two per rack), but I ended up removing the last one. After a lot of swearing and throwing/kicking I went in and ordered
