This bike rack looks good and feels solid. I like that it can be folded and tilted so you can open the trunk. That thing is heavy! But that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, as it's also very durable. Assembly was fairly easy with most of the work being screwing the bike rack parts onto the frame. To make this MUCH easier, you'll need several different types of sockets to tighten. It fits the bikes very well and keeps them in place, and the top is fixed with a pen holder and you can remove the pin to fold it up when you don't have bikes attached. This 4 bike rack system seems pretty solid .All the metal is about the same size as the part that fits in a 2" receiver which is about 2" square tubing. Assembly was fairly easy despite the unclear instructions. The two collapsible parts make it easy and smooth. The pins fit snugly, so do the cotter pins.
