This thing is cool! Man, very high quality and very cheap. Delivery in less than 24 hours for a Sunday order. Tight fit and coils are tight. Should last a long time. Apply dielectric grease to the contacts to keep them fresh!

They might not be the heaviest cables but they work great for the purpose. Coil memory and recoil are maintained under the hot Florida sun and with multiple uses. I used it as a pigtail to connect the 7 pin end to the trailer as regular pigtails are not available with winding. It worked great for this purpose, the wires were colored intuitively. The only problem (which is probably to be expected) is that not all of the 7-wire wires come from the 7-wire end. Instead you have the standard 4…

We ordered this knowing we would be using it soon and when we finally did it was completely non-functional. Doesn't work at all. It's already past the return date, so I guess we've run out of $13. Probably, in the spring it was necessary to buy a more expensive one, but the reviews were good. Spring. If you take that risk, make sure you test it as soon as possible and don't assume it will work when you need it.

Heavy Duty Adapter. The plugs are made of thick plastic, very good weatherproof. Wire has heavy gauge insulation over 18 AWG. I bought it to use between the truck and our grain trucks. The spiral cord keeps the wire up and out of the corn stalks. If it can withstand the rigors of agricultural use, it will certainly handle regular road traffic as well. You can't beat the price. A regular 7 to 4 pin adapter costs the same or more.

I've been using it for 3 years in the summer heat and it's flawless. I make truck and trailer wiring for a living and bought this adapter for one of my work trucks. It correctly takes the functions of 7, which you need to convert to 4. Don't be fooled by the review saying it's missing a center plug that should be a ground. He was so wrong. It has a ground (which works fine) which should NOT be a center plug. Price offer. I would buy it again if I needed 2 of these.
