I used this tape to seal gaps between the outlet of a portable air conditioner and my window. The band is strong, thick and stretchable. If necessary, you can stretch it with enough force. I compared it to standard packing tape, it's much thicker and easy to apply. I don't live in a cold climate so all I needed was duct tape to seal the cracks and keep the hot air out. I don't know if the adhesive leaves a residue on the window frame like packing tape and duct tape, but I will update my review…

Ohio just got its first snow so it just fell. I've just patched a gap in the French doors in and around the plexiglass window and we drive through the storm door while the grille is taken down for the winter. I liked the width and price per foot and the thickness and modest stickiness. I will update again when I take it down in spring.
