For $16 I wasn't expecting much but as others have said it's not the most durable product so I suppose you'll want to use it as a heavy bar of soap or maybe , some decorative stones on the base as it's only plastic, no glass. When I go to get the towel, the whole towel rail goes up with it and then I have a hard time putting it in the right place because it is still partly hanging on the towel and the floor is shaking. For those who wrote that it's small for a towel - YES it's too small for a towel. Considering it's a fingertip towel rail, this shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Handkerchiefs are larger than a washcloth but smaller than a hand towel.
