    Good cable, a bit big

Very good cable for the price and it was the right size for two Martin Logan SWT-2 wireless units. I would go with 1 leg if they had it. My only complaint is that the plug is a bit longer than most RCA plugs, and depending on your cabinet or stand, your AV receiver may need to be moved forward a bit to fit. Otherwise it's pretty good and serves its purpose.

    Awesome, great cable.

Can't say enough good things about this cable. I also have a Cardas coax for $150, as well as another high-end glass cable that costs a bit more, and this mediabridge is almost as good - maybe 95% the same sound quality, but only 7.8% of the cost. I recently bought another mediabridge as a replacement. This is a high quality digital cable at an exceptionally affordable price.

This is a good solid shielded cable

I like that this cable comes in a variety of sizes. It seems quite durable and glides well over the joints. It's quite flexible and copes well with the tight bend behind the CD and Denon receivers. I only needed a 2 foot cord because they sit on top of each other. I wanted to shield because of all the other unshielded speaker wire coming from behind so it doesn't interfere between the CD and receiver. The sound seems to be good, so I'm satisfied.

    Works exactly as I expected

My new amplifier has one less optical audio input than my old one. It was bad news, but it does have a coaxial audio input. I've always opted for a Toslink connector, so this was the first time I've used the coax type, which meant buying a new cable. I chose the Mediabridge brand without hesitation. There are certain brands that I have come to trust and this is one of them. every time The price is right, the quality is top notch and most importantly it works exactly as I expected.

    Pros
    • understandable even for the old
    Cons
    • appearance

I buy and use many Mediabridge cables in my applications when it comes to my precious stereo. They are a reputable, quality-minded company that makes excellent products very cheaply Inexpensive cables and other accessories I have never experienced jitter, hum or any feedback that is usually caused by bloated crap companies I also use banana plugs there (great quality) easy to use and durable my setup at home costs more than 8k , so I'm pretty biased about Mediabridge!

    • Hard to tell

So I found out that if you have an HDMI cable from your CD player (or BR player), it carries the same audio data as here. So unless your HDTV is old or your amp/receiver is old, you probably won't need this for your BR player. HDMI is better in a way because it connects and works. However, you need to understand your BR player and AVR for it to work. If this is not the case, you may not hear any sound through this cable and through HDMI. I had to fiddle with Sony's confusing controls for a…

    Cables are important.

I don't have the money for high-end devices, but I enjoy music, so I'm always looking for ways to improve the sound quality. I'm using my Samsung Blu-Ray player as a CD drive and video player by connecting the S/PDIF line to the DAC on my Onkyo receiver. I figured the old monster cable I was using was up to the task. After reading several discussions on the internet about the need for good quality cables for good musicality, I decided to test the hypothesis. So I ordered this Mediabridge and…

    • Comfortable to use
    Cons
    • Crumpled

I recently purchased a used Emotiva A5175 (125w) amplifier to power my Marantz SR 5011 (100w) receiver. First I used a regular RCA cable to connect the receiver and the amplifier. I connect only 3 speakers (front left, front right and center) through the amp and run 2 surround speakers and a subwoofer straight through the receiver. I have SVS Pinnacle Prime on the front and SVS Ultra Center (also SVS Prime BookShelf for surround and PB-2000 for subwoofer. This is my setup). So as soon as I…
