Very easy to use, but you need a precision Phillips screwdriver for two small screws. I have a craft version of this that I have owned for many years and it should work. It appears to be the same size as mine: Wiha - Precision Phillips #000 X 40 - 26102. I think an eyeglass screwdriver would work too. Although it says "up to 8TB" here, it fits on my 10TB drive. I bought this to use with a Macbook. I put in a branded 6TB hard drive, for which you need a small electronic screwdriver. I connected everything, formatted the Mac drive and backed it up using the native Time Machine program. The disc was unsafely ejected before completion, resulting in an error. I deleted the partial information and restarted the backup. The second time everything went smoothly. I hope the first bug was an anomaly and I'll update my review if I encounter other issues. I have both the plastic version of this case (K32-SU3) and the aluminum version (HDL-SU3). I ordered a plastic K32-SU3 last year and it has worked flawlessly ever since. I installed a 2TB Western Digital drive and have never seen it turn off even once. The SMART functions work great and it rolls up and down with no issues.
