I've used Turtle Wax and other products and they seem to do almost nothing for the finish. One application and the car shines with a deep shine and is water-repellent, as it should be - for several months! This is Megar. What else can I say?

I liked how easy it was to use although it didn't even seem to remove the lighter scratches/swirls definitely made a noticeable difference Difference in the depth of the color scheme of the car. Easy to remove and apply despite investing in the softest applicators and microfiber cloths. It is definitely worth putting in a little extra effort before waxing.

Bought to remove the red curbs on my mother's bumper. This product is a liquid, not a paste. No luck with what I needed. Luckily I also found an old can of turtlewax tucked away on a shelf in the back. It was so old that the paste had shriveled up and separated from the rim of the jar. This old stuff worked like a charm. I don't know if it's the brand or if the paste was better for the job.

This is the worst polishing compound ever. Used on both cars in a cool garage. Weeks later I'm still finding areas that need to be removed. At first I thought the "clay bar" thing was just a gimmick. But I found that it seems to do what it promises to do. First I washed my 4 year old car. Then I used a tone bar just on the hood. I let it dry and then wiped the veil off with a microfiber cloth. I noticed that as I moved the microfiber towel over the hood, the towel glided smoothly over the surface. Heed the warning on the bottle: DO NOT allow this substance to dry on your paintwork (very difficult or impossible in warm or hot weather) or you will find residue very difficult to remove. If you still want to buy this material, apply it to very small areas at a time, no larger than 6 inches, otherwise it will dry out.
