I liked that it helps develop fine motor skills. This is more of a sit-on toy as it slides around when baby gets up to use it. I had to drill one of the holes for the leg. The overlying plastic element was installed to cover 1/2 of the hole. Customer support is not available. Amazon wasn't able to ship a new one overnight (Revain said it was for the company). We bought the second M&D product and both work. It's difficult when you can't contact them or get a replacement right away.

This is a great little play center for 7 months to a year! Ideal for a sitting or kneeling child. This is clearly too small to stand fully upright, so its useful life is limited. As our daughter became more mobile, she could no longer sit up straight with this toy. So overall this is a great buy, but personally I don't think you will get your money back if you wait up to 1 year to buy. We bought this for my son's first birthday and he loves it! My son is so easily distracted but sometimes it takes him about half an hour and that's HUGE for my 1 year old haha. it is absolutely beautiful, you can tell it is handmade. It's so colourful, so much to do and understand for the little ones. It seems very durable considering my son keeps tipping it over and trying to climb on it. nothing broken yet. I am very disappointed in this product. Of course, a toy for babies has to be mouth-safe. My kid was so happy about it and I saw him bite the table a few times but I didn't think about it much. I later realized that wherever he spoke there was no color. So basically, if your infant or toddler is still putting something in their mouth (you know all babies and toddlers do) then this product is not safe. I bought this desk for my child 9 almost 10 months. It is small of course, but it is convenient for you to use it, sitting or kneeling. For size reference, she weighs 23 pounds. Assembly was easy.
