Poor design of disposable filters

Poor quality and design. Hold a lower volume than the competitor I've used as it's not a true cone shape - it had a seam at the bottom. The second used missed some coffee. I would not recommend them. I knew what it would look like in the photos but had no idea it was that extreme. On the 5th filter, it broke through the bottom of the filter again, getting all the coffee grounds into my coffee. Will be changed from 2 stars to 1 star. Strongly do not recommend these filters.

Viable alternative good for disposable filters

I bought these after reading reviews that they would help present a better tasting coffee compared to 'natural' filters which are wrapping paper. My coffee tastes great, but it's more of a combination of different factors like water to coffee ratio, water quality, spout, filter cup, etc. Sometimes I switch back to the natural variety, but honestly I can't say it's any different or better. Well-made filters, especially beneficial when reusing.

These coffee filters do a great job of filtering coffee. I use them in my funnel for my daily tea making and they really are the best filters for the job. I like bleached paper, not that unbleached has any aroma that I can detect, it's just my preference. They've embraced micro-tasting pores that supposedly help make a better cup of coffee, but I think that's marketing nonsense.
