I use and like the round melon boat chair leg pads but these square ones are different and not as good. They have a pronounced lip on top while round lips have no such lip. The reason the lip is bad is because visually it really stands out. The round ones basically merge with the chair leg and become almost invisible. I've tried all sorts of felt and Teflon pads with various attachment mechanisms such as gluing, nailing, pressing, knocking, etc. The glue doesn't last long. Others hold out, but the felt padding doesn't work. I tried the As Seen on TV plastic at Bed Bath and Beyond but the plastic cracked within a few weeks.
